Hi, great plugin. Having an issue where we’re using the {purchase_date} variable in the email that goes out to the submitter but the time does not match the current time and is not using what is in our site settings.

For example, I just tested an order at March 12, 8:47 pm PDT and the email is showing “Purchase Date: March 13, 2019, 3:47 am”

    Any way to fix?

    Thanks

    Hi,

but the time does not match the current time and is not using what is in our site settings.

What is the time in your computer/ laptop?

The time on my computer was 8:47pm.

    Hi.

The plugin is using your server time for the timestamp. If you adjust your server time to your local time, it should show you correct timestamp.

You can try to set your timezone if WP settings (Settings -> General) and then make a test purchase to see if it helps.

So it pulls the timestamp from the server? Our settings in General are set for our time in our time zone.

I will investigate this a bit further and get back to you shortly.

Actually, it looks like the date is taken from Stripe and always displays in UTC+0 timezone.

I have added a ticket to our inner system regarding this. We will make sure purchase date is displayed according to WP date\time settings and format. Those changes should be applied to the upcoming version of the plugin (which is coming soon).

    Thank you for reporting this.

Fantastic, thanks Alexander. Do you think we’re talking days away, weeks away, months?

Actually, it’s already done. You can test it by downloading testing version from plugin’s website. Or wait until stable version is released (should be within a couple of days, can’t say for sure yet).

And once again, thanks for reporting this!

Wow that was quick. We can wait a couple days. Thanks much.

Took a bit longer than expected, but version 1.9.18 has been released and it contains the fix.

Let me know if you no longer facing the issue described in your original message.

Yes, it’s working great now. Thanks for making that adjustment.
