Time outs

I upgraded to 4.1 two days ago and it worked fine until yesterday noon. Since then I cannot update any post because of extremely long time outs, resultung in server errors. I suggest that this is due to a problem at my provider′s site (Deutsche Telekom), but want to be sure, that the upgrade to 4.1 is NOT the reason.
