Time out payment changes order status to processing from pending payment

    Hello,

    I have came up with an strange thing. We have created an e-shop for a client of ours and he came up with a thing. A customer had created an order whitch she paid with debit / credit card. The order was made on 9 May and had a status of pending payment. The bank that the eshop is connected with (AlphaBank Greece) has setted the payment as timmed out on 6 October https://prnt.sc/Au8zfcraRlHH. The order is now showen as paid and the order status has changed to processing. There is no transaction id on the order and the shop manager did not receive any money. Also the stock of the products the customer ordered was decreased https://prnt.sc/xDExqQb0fvT2. From a search i did the order sould have status failed since the payment was not accepted. Why was the order status changed from pending payment to processing since the payment was timed out? And after some months have passed?
