Time Out Error on particular sites?

    Yes, others have reported this problem as well. Google is having problems connecting to documents on certain sites and not on others. I’ve never once had a satisfactory response (or really, any response at all) to support queries on their forums, though once again I’ve tried.

    Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. Unfortunately the nature of the problem seems to be on Google’s end and there isn’t much I can suggest, other than temporarily moving critical documents to unaffected servers or services (like Dropbox). Not a good solution, I know.

    I had similar issues which always occurred only then when my browser was logged-in at a Google account simultaneously (e.g. Google Plus or YouTube).
    But by todays plugin update to ‘Google Doc Embedder’ version 2.5.8 this error seems to be eliminated. For me it works fine at my site https://katja.at/verantwortung/muetter
