• My colleague who does the rosters is having some issues with the new version of Shift Controller.

    1. She’s asked if there is a way to have any time off requests be notified in total time off rather than in separate days. Eg: If someone is taking 3 weeks of, now the new email notification lists each day rather than just saying the 3rd June – 21st June etc. This is a bit more extra work for a manager to go through and look at every day rather than just a block of time. The old notifications used to state a block of time (ive pasted in examples below).

    2. The new notifications are full of code which is confusing for someone not familiar with code. Can this be fixed?

    3. In addition, when time offs are submitted I can’t action the time off as a whole, I have to action each individual day in the time off. For example, Iza’s three week time off needed to have each day ticked individually and then I could approve them all. Bit annoying.

    4. One of our staff had entered in 3 weeks off. Now since the plugin update it is only showing the first day of that 3 week period as off, not the entire period e.g.: Its showing she has the 3rd of June off, but not the 4th-21st as requested.

I have emailed you regarding this on 11/5/16 and again today.. No response…

Example of the old way it used to notify:

    From: XXXX
    Subject: Time Off: Pending
    Date: 3 May 2016 20:48:49 BST
    To: XXXXX

    Staff:XXXX
    Status: Pending
    Date: Fri, 3 Jun 2016 – Tue, 21 Jun 2016

    ———————————————————————————————————

Example of the new way it notifies:

    From: XXXX
    Subject: Timeoff published (4)
    Date: 11 May 2016 12:02:49 BST
    To: XXXXX
