Time of expiry

I have set the items in this list to expire (switch to draft) on the day of the class but it doesn’t appear to work. If I set 20.4.23 as the expiry should it expire as soon as the calendar hits that date or is it at midnight on the day set? A clock as well as a calendar would be a great addition to this plugin so you can accurately set a time to switch a product to draft.
