Time interval for Restart Preload
-
Hi,
I am studying the function called “Restart Preload After Completed” feature in the preload option.
In this article https://www.wpfastestcache.com/features/restart-preload-after-completed/ , it said “You have to set a cron job as you can see in this tutorial if you want to use this feature.”
However, in this article https://www.wpfastestcache.com/features/manually-preload-with-cron-jobs/ , it said “If you are not satisfied with the speed of the Preload feature, you can set the speed of the Preload feature.” So based on the latter, it seems that :
1. Set the cron job is optional instead of a must-be in the former article?
2. It seems the restart of the preload is initiated by the cron job. Not by the WP Fastest Cache. If that is the case, then why I need to check the option “Restart Preload after Completed” since the cron job will auto restart the preload operation? Also what is the appropriate time interval for the cron job? My blog has 3692 posts in total. No pages. And I am using a dedicated server on InMotion hosting.
Thanks
