    Hello,

I like the plugin. However, I am having an

First issue: I have my City set to North Chelmsford, MA, USA.
The TIME (g:i a) displays the UTC/GMT time.
Our city is in EST (GMT-5)
I can not see any way to force the time difference in the settings – only turn the time on or off.

Second issue: I have set my city to “North Chelmsford, MA, USA.”
I have set override location name to “North Chelmsford”
The widget still displays “North Chelmsford, US” instead of just the city name as specified in the override field.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @kindred,

Sorry for being late to reach you. Hope you are fine.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. After getting your query we have tested and found that the country code couldn’t be removed. Both of the queries have been added to our plugin development plan as feature requests. We’ll do our best to add options as quickly as feasible.

Your understanding and patience would be highly appreciated.

    Hi @kindred,

This thread has been inactive for a bit, so I’m going to mark it as Resolved now. Please feel free to open a new one if you have any further questions.

    Cheers!

You marked it as Resolved — but it has not been resolved. The issue still exists. Time still shows GMT instead of EST. Since I am up-to-date with the most recent version, although you added the fix into the PLAN, I do not believe that it has been IMPLEMENTED yet — and so the issue remains UNRESOLVED.

Additionally, the second issue (Override Location Name does not override) also remains UNRESOLVED.

    Thank you for your feedback.

We will review this issue again and the resolution will be included in the future version soon.

    Hi @kindred,

Hope you are fine. We have released a new version (1.3.0) yesterday with an option of the custom timezone. Please take a look at the screenshot. By using this option you can set your preferred timezone. We have also fixed the Override Location Name issue in the previous version (1.2.10).

Please check both of the features and let us know if you find any issues.

    Thank you.

    Hi Bayejid,

I see the update and have applied it.
I found the timezone setting and applied UTC-4 (I am currently in the Eastern Daylight Time — GMT-4)

    However, the time displays incorrectly.
it is currently 12:30 PM May 24 here
UTC is 4:30 PM May 24
If I leave the setting as “Select a timezone”, the module displays, the module displays 4:26 PM May 24
If I set the setting to UTC-4, the module displays 4:26 PM May 24
If I set the setting to UTC+0, the module displays as 8:26 PM May 24.
If I set the setting to UTC+4, the module displays as 12:26 AM May 25.

Now, I can “workaround” this, by applying UTC-8 as the timezone, but that is not the actual zone.

It looks like the module is somehow assuming UTC as 4 hours ahead of actual UTC to start…

I do confirm that the override location is now working correctly!

    Hi @kindred,

Thank you for your details reply. The timezone option was added to adjust the time if any user finds that the weather time is not matched with his/her location.

    Hope you understand.
