Tiled Mosaic – Amount of Columns

    Tiled Galleries are built based on your theme’s content width, so you won’t be able to control the number of columns as you would with standard galleries. That’s why the number of columns option disappears when you choose a Tiled Gallery type.

    I hope this clarifies things a bit.
