Tiled Gallery uses i0.wp.com links with accelerator disabled

    I am not using the site accelerator tool, but all the images in my tiled gallery are loaded from i{0,1,2}.wp.com. Is this intended behavior?

    I was not expecting the images to load via that CDN while it’s disabled.

  • Hey @benharri, great question!

    Site Accelerator is used for Tiled Galleries on Jetpack sites, even if the Accelerator module itself is deactivated. If this is causing any problems, please let us know more!

    @happyaxident it’s not causing problems, I just wanted to ensure that it was intended.

    It might not be a bad idea to add a notice in the Accelerator options that it will be used for the Tiled Galleries even when it’s off. Either that or respect the global accelerator setting in the block itself.
