TikTok Embed Issue (Thread Incorrectly Marked As Resolved)

Hello,

For some reason, a recent thread I posted was marked as resolved despite the issue persisting. Starting a new thread per the advice in that post.

I recently reported an issue with TikTok embeds. AMP pages that featured a TikTok embed were:

1) Duplicating the text content
2) Incorrectly treating the TikTok video as a YouTube video, thus not playing anything for the user
3) Failing the AMP validation test

Following the most recent plugin update, #2 and #3 are no longer issues. #1 persists, however.

As you can see, it’s first posting the content with a blockquote-esque thing. Then, it reposts everything with the correct embed.

1. Regarding the first one- Can you please elaborate a little bit more on this issue regarding the first point? So that we will assist you accordingly to resolve it.
2. Can you please share the short video of it or please share a few screenshots of it, As of now we didn’t see that issue on your site.

If you look at these screenshots, you’ll see that the article is essentially duplicated on the AMP version.

It first shows the text and then some sort of blockquote with a formatting error. Then, it repeats all the text but leads into the correct embed.

By comparison, the non-AMP version of the site just features the content and embed once. As it should.

Must be an ad block issue with that image hosting site, since I’ve just tested and everything is loading fine. Also a little confused why screenshots are even necessary as it’s abundantly clear that the text of the article is duplicated on the AMP page. But here’s the screenshots hosted on my own site so I know they work.

Can you please share with us the exported AMP optional panel settings once? So that we will import it at our end and check the issue once and get back to you accordingly to resolve it.
