Tiger Server Is Messing With My Email

  • I recently upgraded to tiger server, and now comment notifications and such are no longer emailed to me. Has anyone else had this problem. I checked the servers logs and this is what i get:

  • This is not a WordPress issue.
    While there may be Mac users here, this problem is better placed in a forum that deals with Apple products.

    I just assumed that others would have had this problem and managed to fix it. Many other Tiger users won’t be using sendmail functions and such and will not be able to help me. Whilst I will post in a mac support forum, I am confident that I will be more likely to receive help from this forum.

    Dude, calm down. I have wordpress, or I wouldn’t post here. I know that someone else here must have had this problem, so if you would like to stop shouting at me and give me some pointers or let someone else answer my question it would be greatly appreciated.

    This podz guy needs to relax just a LITTLE!! this is a ligitimate problem! I am having email problems as well while hosting WORDPRESS on my APPLE computer. There is an issue with sendmail that I am trying to resolve. If anyone (besides podz!) has any information, please let me know! Good luck blcklprd!

    I’m a mac user, and even I would have to agree that you MIGHT have better luck checking on this in apple/tiger/osx-server forums. People using osx-server are more likely to have seen this stuff and know what’s going on.

    Otherwise, looks like the smtp server is refusing the connection. Any further error codes, messages, etc.? There’s a lot of reasons an smtp server could be refusing your connection…

    I’m sorry, but I’ll have to agree with David. There have been some users here in the past who maintain Mac OS X Servers, but they certainly aren’t forum regulars. You will have much better luck, and get a much quicker reply by asking your question(s) in Apple’s Mac OS X Server Discussions.
