I have downloaded the Event Tickets (free) plugin. I read that it can be used independently from Event Calendar.

The plugin works great including payment, functionality, and the backend.

As an administrator I can access the Tickets menu and all it sub-items including Attendees, Settings, etc.
However, when logging in as a Editor (user role), I don’t see the ‘Tickets’ menu.
I have tried User Role plugin which allowed me to check all the boxes for all the elements for Tickets that the editor can use, but it still does not appear.

I would like to have it appear for Editor role.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix this?

    Thank you,

    Hi @tkgnewseed ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I’m afraid due to sensitive information, the Tickets menu is limited to administrator role at this time. However, users with editor roles should be able to create RSVPs/Tickets to allowed post types () that you’ve set (in Tickets -> Settings -> General tab -> Ticket Settings section -> Post types that can have tickets) regardless of having the Tickets menu or not.

Thank you. I found an alternative solution by installing User Role plugin and then created a new admin user. Then I installed White Label CMS plugin which gives me the ability to selectively hide the admin menu items including dashboard items and admin tool bar.

I did this because the client will be overwhelmed using WordPress and it’s plugins for the very first time and I want to make sure to make this as simple as possible. While the site is built using Elementor and the fact that she is not ready for that yet, I set it up to where I added all the necessary fields using Advanced Custom Fields plugin so that all she has to do is fill out the fields.

I hope this might be of use for someone else.

    Again, thank you.
