I am connected to Stripe account with both of our websites. No one at Events calendar that sell these products want to help.

    The two websites are
    https://www.fullcircleexperiences.au/event/nepal-trek-beyond-the-mountains/
    https://www.insidejob.au/event/immerse-mens-4-day-winter-trek/

Add a ticket and add to cart. You will see the payment options do not match what is on Stripe.

There is an issue with the payment methods available. Both accounts in stripe have the same 4 only enabled?credit cards, Zip, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

However, not all show on either website and Apple pay show when it is not enabled anywhere.

I have been talking to Stripe about it and now they are asking about the integration with wordpress (event tickets) and stripe.

Are there any specific payment method settings on the Tickets settings that control payment methods?

It is driving me crazy and taking way too long. We are supposed to be using this website to sell tickets and we can not.

These are the payment methods set for each account in stripe.

And these are the 2 checkout pages. Nothing matches.

Inside job. No options besides card.

Full Circle card and after pay. I want Zip, not after pay as well as Apple and Google pay.

How do I make the 2 payment option match. Stripe obviously say it is Tickets issue and vice versa. Always the way.

    Thanks in advance

    Tony

Hi Tristan, I have already done this step. I deactivated all other plugins and changed to a 2021 theme.

Nothing improved. You can see the results in this post earlier on.

How come people are willing to help but when the problem can’t be solved they stop. I still have the damn problem and it is the Events plugin causing all of my grief. I should just cut my losses and get a different plugin to use.

    Hi @rdwebstuff24 ,

Thank you for your message and I apologize for the late revert, as I was out for a couple of days.

We’re, unfortunately, having difficulties reproducing the issue on our testing environment running only The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, and the twenty-twenty theme. This is what’s making it difficult in getting a solution to your situation, and it’s what’s making us think the issue has to do with your WordPress environment.

Are both sites hosted on the same WebHost?

    (@rdwebstuff24)

Hi Tristan083, yes both websites are hosted with Site Ground

Thank you for the information, @rdwebstuff24 .

Have you tried manually re-installing the plugins to see if that alleviates the situation?

    (@rdwebstuff24)

Hi sorry for the delay. I manually reinstalled both the event tickets and events calendar plugins on the inside job website to test as these events are not live to public. Nothing seemed to change in the checkout. Only Credit card was available. I then went and enabled both Klarna and afterpay to see if that made those options available but again nothing changed.

So when you say you can’t replicate the issue. Do you have a site with event tickets and event calendar using stripe and the same payment methods enabled? What does the checkout look like?

    Hi @rdwebstuff24 ,

Thank you for your patience while the team investigates on this one.

To help us understand the situation further on this one, could you please share a screenshot of both site’s Checkout Settings in Tickets -> Settings -> Payments (tab) -> Stripe (sub-tab)? Here is a sample screenshot of what we’re referring to: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZj6oBV9FZ3.

Hi Tristan, thanks so much for persisting with this. I looked at the setting for both of these site in the area you mentioned and yes they were different. I made them the same and the same payment methods were displayed. Credit card and After pay. So these are the only 2 options available for the tickets plugin ( i think you mentioned that).

I think we can finally close this ticket.

    Thank you for your help.
