Ticket Quantity and Booking Ref not appearing in emails

Hi, I’m having the exact issue described in this support thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/transaction-id-and-quantity-fields-blank-in-registrant-email-payment-received/
Neither the Transaction ID [TXN_ID] nor Ticket Quantity Purchased [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] values are appearing in emails sent from the website – or even in the back-end message previews.
The thread says that the problem has been fixed for the paid version but I’m still experiencing it using Decaf.
I’m using the latest version (4.4.10.04.decaf), and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.
The problem still occurs if I deactivate all plugins and use the default 2015 theme.
Can you help?
