Is it possible to specify the order in which the tickets appear when there is more than one ticket for an event? It seems to be random – each time I load the page it’s in a different order. Ideally they would be in order in which they are added. Example: 1pm lunch ticket, 2pm lunch ticket, 3pm lunch ticket should appear in that order.

    Hi @artisanweb,

You should be able to drag and drop tickets to change their order, would you mind letting me know if it works for you?

    See: https://share.zight.com/jku81G9Y

For me to understand and learn more about your setup, could you provide the following version of the following?

    1. PHP
    2. WordPress
    3. Event Tickets
    4. Theme and Version

The view in your screen capture is completely different from mine. I’ve attached 2 screenshots – 1 shows the Tickets in the left-hand menu and the other shows the tickets on the Event editing page. On the event editing page when you hover over a ticket it looks like you should be able to drag but nothing happens. Also, when loading the event from the frontend the order randomly changes each time you refresh the page.

PHP 8.1, WP 6.3.1, EVENT TICKETS 5.7.1, THEME RONEBY

I also have it on some websites using Astra theme. They don’t randomly load on the frontend but I still can’t manually specify the order.

    Hi @artisanweb,

Thank you for sharing screenshots with me.

I see that you’re using the Classic Editor while my screen recording was from Block Editor.

Using Classic Editor you should be able to rearrange the tickets order, see: https://share.zight.com/kpueo67B

Do you perhaps have a caching plugin? If so, follow the article below and exclude our files from being cached: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/

?Also, it would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?

    1. Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
    2. Switching to the Default theme.

Please read the Testing for Conflicts article before doing anything.

To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

If none of the above helps, Would you mind sharing the direct URL to the page you’re having issues with? Please do not share any credentials, this is for us to follow the?WordPress Forum Guidelines.

I disabled all plugins except The Events Manager and Tickets and changed to Twenty Four theme but for some reason the block editor isn’t active on the events page. Is there something I should do to activate it? The block editor works on posts and pages. There is no caching plugin. It won’t help to share the URL as the problem is within the admin.

    Hello @artisanweb,

    Thanks for your reply.

You need to switch to block editor for events at Events>>Settings>>General>> and check Activate Block Editor for Eventhttps://share.zight.com/2Nu92bde.

    Refer to – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-the-wordpress-5-0-block-editor/

    I hope that helps.
