    Hi there,

When an admin users changes a Password for a user via the backend/admin,

I think I’m right in saying there used to be a Tickbox that read something like

    ‘Notify User of Password Change’

This allowed us to choose whether or not to send them the notification email.

Was this the case or am I getting it mixed up with something else?

If so, how do I re-enable this option please?

Thank you so much for your help and the very useful plugin!

    Hi @joshwillett,
    Thanks for your message.

WordPress changed how passwords work a few version ago. Now, it allows you to send a Password Reset as a link in an email. This notification is part of Better Notifications for WP and is called ‘User Lost Password – For User’.
BNFW hasn’t removed or changes any password functionality within WordPress. Any changes would have been made to WordPress via a recent update to WordPress core.

    Hope this helps.
