Thumbnails/Feature image not working

I just put Nisarg on a friend’s site and it seems the blog thumbnails aren’t working correctly. There are lines just behind the top of the thumbnail where I believe a border should be. I’m using a child theme. Is there css code that can remove the border lines? I can send a screenshot, it you’ll tell me how. Thanks much.
