Thumbnails warped and now not showing up at all

Hi Jill, sorry for my late response. I had work the last time and could not look into these threads.

So, the warping occurs if your site is in small displays, like Smartphones, right? There is a solution for that. Please be patient.

Is the effect not to pull a picture at all still available? For me every picture is displayed in the widget in your blog.

Jill, with the new plugin version 2.3 you can activate the option to keep the aspect ratio to prevent warping.

No worries! Sorry for my late reply as well. I just updated the Plugin, and activated the aspect ratio option. It looks much better!

Another question I wanted to ask was whether there is the capability to hide the latest post on my blog from coming up in the widget (since this is the first thing visitors see when they come to the page in the main content).

It is possible. But what should happen if your visitor is on the second latest post? Hide it from the list, too?

That is a good point! I think that it would be best to hide the current post the reader is on from the list.

But if you are just on the home page with all of the posts, I suppose you could hide the first one only since that is at the top of the home page?

Hi Jill, wiht the new version 4.0 you can toggle on and off whether the current post is displayed in the list or not.
