Thumbnails showing as large images

    I have installed “Display Post Shortcode” today and I am loving it. However I cannot get the thumbnails in the right size. In the list they are displayed as large images.

    I am using WordPress 3.5.1. and a theme by ElegantThemes. This theme (Chameleon) uses the featured image for a slider on the homepage. Therefore the featured image needs to have high resolution. Other plugins (like the recent post widget) seem to have no problem with this and are showing the thumbnail as small images, as can be seen in the footer of the page.

    I used the following shortcode:
    [display-posts include_excerpt=”true” image_size=”thumbnail” wrapper=”div” tag=”prix-de-rome”]

    Overnight the page with the “display post shortcode” on it went completely black and I had to remove the plugin altogether.

    I will close this topic (although unresolved)
