thumbnails scale (aspect ratio) & exif-datas

hello,
i have read that nextgen can do aspect-ratio (scale?), so i want test nextgen before buying, but i think i do somehing wrong or i have not understand right the aspect-ratio. I have do a test site from my original site with insect-article and have insert the nextgen-plugin (shortcode), but the thumbnails are not scaled. Aspect-ratio at the 5th image are wrong.

At the “big/fullsize” Picture is it possible to show more exif-information, like ISO, Distance, shutter-speed, cover and so on?
