Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to a WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery?
    – Last time I tried this it messed up all the work I did to make the site look great. I am not doing the same mistake again – I can’t deactivate the current theme to check. I hope you can understand. But I did deactivate the non-theme-related plugins with no effect on the issue. In any case until WP update it was all working fine with these plugins in place…

    Here is my problem…:

Before recent (automatic) update of WordPress my site was working fine. When you clicked on a thumbnail – the image showed in a Lightbox floating above the page. Now it simply opens in a blank page with no UI showing just that image, leaving my site completely. I (and visitors to my site) then have to manually go back in the browser to return to my site…

You can try it here – just click on any of the thumbnails here …:

Any help / guidance would be much appreciated…

@pmajtan – Something is stopping the JavaScript and CSS needed for the Lightbox Effects in NextGEN Gallery to from being written to the page … although you do not want to go through a thorough troubleshooting procedure that may be the only way to locate the cause of this happening.

    Thanks!
