Thumbnails only work after fix

  • Hello,

    I’ve got a problem with my nextgen.
    Whenever I upload new photo’s the thumbnails don’t show up. I get an error when I try ‘Make new thumbnail’. Only when I ‘fix’ the picture the thumbnail appears. However, when I try to ‘fix’ all of them at once, another error occurs: ‘retrying in 30 seconds, host might be throttling’. The only solution right now is to fix them all one by one but that’s a huge amount of work so I was wondering if you have any solutions for my problem?

    I’ve got nextgen version 2.0.66.37
    SQL: 5.1.73, PHP: 5.3.10

    @xleaniex – What do you mean by “fix”? Also, what size of images are you uploading?

    I mean recover instead of fix, sorry.. Nestgen automatically reduces the pictures to 800×600..

    @xleaniex – NextGEN Gallery automatically re-sizing the image does not change the size of the original images being uploaded. This option creates a new image, in this case, that is based on the dimensions of “800×600”.

    Have you checked for any plugin conflicts on your site? What other troubleshooting steps have you tried?
