• Hi,

I have a rather strange problem. I have NGG setup to generate thumbnails of 100 x 75. The automatic generation of thumbnails goes well when uploading pictures.

However, when I want to change a thumbnail via the Manage Gallery screen, the newly generated thumbnails will be either 100 x 75 (which is good) or 100 x 74. When some thumbnails in a gallery have different heights, it will impact the alignment of the pictures when showing the gallery.

I think it’s some sort of rounding issue, however I am not able to fix this myself, because I don’t know where to look.

    Anyone can help?

  • Yup, It’s likely to be a rounding issue.

If decide to edit your CSS then you need a different height setting to the one given in the post.

Thanks. Set the height to 90px for the ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box. So far this is the third time I had to correct a bug using the CSS ??

    1. Bug when using IE8+ which displays all thumbnails on top of each other (added ‘width’ and ‘padding-right’ to ngg-gallery-thumbnail).
    2. Bug in correct displaying of compact albums with longer descriptions (added ‘height:180px;’ to ngg-album-compact) and
    3. Rounding bug (added ‘height:90px;’ to ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box).

Definately need to backup my CSS when updating the plugin ??
