thumbnails not showing up when sharing link to facebook

The sharing button for facebook is not picking up the post’s image when sharing to facebook. It works is some posts, but not on others. I’ve tried to find out what I have done different in the posts where shareaholoic facebook button is not working, but I can’t find the reason.
Does anyone have ever encounter the same problem?
