thumbnails not loading

    Good Day.

    Using latest NextGen and having chosen NextGEN: gallery-carousel.php
    as the settings, the page loads showing one main image and the thumbnails but I am unable to load any of the other thumbnails.

    When I click on one of them all I get is a loading gif

    Using a genesis child theme with minimal customisation
