Back again…just when I thought all was well lol
I discovered that my thumbnails are showing a downsized large image. I have my largest images at 400×400 and when I upload my images the thumbnails (which I have configured at 225×225 in the settings) are generated in the larger image size. I checked using filezilla and the thumbs folder has the larger images in it.
Here is my configuration: Table I C1 1a 225 pixels C2 same as fullsize.
I use the “last ten” and have that set as well in IF They show up the right size of course but with the larger sized images in the smaller box. I also use the cloud but nothing is working there as I’ve just uploaded some images and haven’t configured them yet by tags.
So I figured I’d regenerate the thumbnails. did that but that didn’t change anything.
so I went in the back and deleted all the thumbs and regenerated again. No dice.
I only have 20 images uploaded because I wanted to make sure it worked. So I deleted all of them and the thumbs and uploaded them all again. No dice.
I’m obviously missing something?? look here to see.

Can you please be so kind to tick box in Table IX-A3, so i can at least see what other plugins you have installed. I saw other strange things like

    src="https://femininefusion.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs/55.jpg?203fee

    what should be someting like:

    src="https://femininefusion.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs/55.jpg?ver=5"

It looks they are still the same size.

And Yes, they should be 225

Table IX-A3 is already checked. They are not the same size because they were 400×400 before. Now they are shown as 294px × 300px (scaled to 221px × 225px. It’s puzzling to me to say the least.

Ok I’m ready to throw in the towel. I can’t even get my slide show going now. So I think to myself, I’m going to delete it completely. Delete the plugin from my backend. Remove all the files such as wppa depot and wppa pl then I went to my database and droped all tables with the letters wppa in them. I wanted to start off fresh. So I reinstall the plugin and start to configure the settings and lo and behold it’s the same stuff I had before. I had deactivated cache and removed cache from the internet. although I don’t want to change plugins, it seems I no other options. I’ve spent enough time on it. Hopefully you can help me to at least know how to delete it off my website….

    It works now.

    https://femininefusion.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs/63.jpg is a thumbnail,

    https://femininefusion.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/63.jpg is a fullsize.

You can also verify on the front-end page that the thumbnail image is from the smaller image file and the lightbox version is the larger file.

    I only deactivated 2 plugins:
Remove query strings from static resources
    and
    WP Smush.it
I will find out on one of my test sites wich one is the offending.

I changed the link to slideshow and that works also.

Have a nice weekend, you’re always welcome for more questions/problems/help/…

So far i have no problems with those two plugins. Did you de-ativate other plugins recently?

Thanks for looking around Jacob. You are a joy to work with.

However, my slide show doesn’t work on my website (it did before and it just stopped. That’s why I had to change it to lightbox. How can it work when you view it and not me??

If you right click a thumbnail and “view image info” on the front page it says this:

    Location: femininefusion.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs62.jpg?ver=22
    Size: Unknown (not cached)
    Dimensions: 300px × 288px (scaled to 225px × 216px)

When I download one of those thumbs from Ftp the file size is 300×300, so they are not being resized to 225×225.

Again how does one completely delete the plugin so nothing stays of it all and I’ll start from scratch once more. I’ve stated above what I did to eliminate the plugin but when I reinstall it my info is still there even though I cleaned out the database and the images and files from the back end.

Does not really need to do:

    Delete the tables wp_wppa_xx
    Delete ../wp-content/uploads/wppa/
    Delete ../wp-content/wppa-source/
    "DELETE FROM wp_options WHERE option_name LIKE 'wppa_%'"

You can alternatively set all settings to defaults in Table VIII-A3: —set to defaults— and press Do it!
This does effectively do the same as starting all over, but it will keep your albums and photos alive.

I figured out why my slide show wasn’t working. I had ticked Table IV A 13 & 14

Defer javascript Experimental Put javascript near the end of the page.
Inline styles	Experimental Set style specifications inline.

I believe all is well now. Thank you for ALL you have helped me with Jacob. It’s a great plugin ??
