    Hi,

Unfortunately there is no way for you to view the site as it is not currently live, however when I paste the shortcode in to the page I get grey boxes with the image titles underneath them, a magnifying glass and a link icon. If I click on the magnifying glass I get the full screen image. If I load the preview from within the plugin it displays the gallery properly, however when it is in a page on the site rather than within its own preview, the plugin does not show the thumbnails.

Any ideas? I hope it is something common and simple you can solve without needing to see the page.

    Dear @chrisharkness,

Could you, please try to change your current theme to WordPress default theme and check it again? Don’t forget to clean cache files before checking. Would be great if you could check the website console and see if there are any errors (if possible, send us a printscreen of it to check).
    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. Same happens in the WordPress 2015 and 2016 themes.

I was wondering if the URLs that the plugin uses could be the issue? I have my hosts file set up to redirect the URL to the space where the folder I’m using for testing the site is. Is there any chance that it has generated the wrong URL for the images as a result?

What do you mean by the website console?

    Dear @chrisharkness,

Could you check if the image URLs are the same as in Media Library after you have redirected? When you press F12 the console opens. Make sure console tab is chosen when making a printscreen.

    regards.

https://ibb.co/jnzL9J That is a copy of the console. The errors regarding HTTP/HTTPS will disappear when the website goes live and there is a valid SSL certificate

If I view source in Chrome, this is what it is showing for the image

If I load the plugin’s preview of the gallery, it shows the below

If I replace the code in the page with the code from the gallery preview in Chrome Dev Tools it displays the image

    Dear @chrisharkness,
Please, try to install the plugin below, as it can be a ssl issue. And this plugin can help in that case.

If this doesn’t help, we will be waiting till your website is live to send a link to check.
    Hope this helps

Thank you, but I think installing that won’t make any difference to anything, the site is on a testing platform anyway so there is no SSL certificate in place. I shall get in touch again when the site is live, but I’m pretty confident it isn’t an SSL issue
