Thumbnails in side bar to image on page

I am trying to make a page in WordPress that will display one full sized image in the main content area. I want the image to change based on thumbnails on the sidebar. I am only using one side bard and this is all that has to be on it. the posts have a different side bar to load widgets on. If there is any help please let me know
