Thumbnails in blog list category do not show.

    The thumbnails are in place and can be seen in single post. But in list it can’t.
    I have a category list and a page made from the blog template. Same thing. No Thumbnail.

    Is there something i am doing wrong.
    Using wp 3.9.1.
    Woo theme canvas 1.5.4
    Buddy press 2.0.1..
    SP Client Project & Document Manager 2.2.3.
    NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati 2.0.66.
    MailPoet Newsletters 2.6.7.

  • I could be wrong, but it looks like the theme you’re using does not include the post thumbnails in the category list you’re using.

    If you want the thumbnails showing on the category list too, you could create a child theme, then create a file to override the parent theme’s category list, incorporating the code from the single post page that adds the thumbnail.

    Or you could switch to a theme that includes the thumbnails in the category list.

    I know for sure that woo canvas supports thumbnails in archives. So the problem must be found elsewhere.

    It was: Add Featured Image to RSS feed – not enabled

    I was thinking it had to be a setting somewhere if the theme supported the thumbnails, but I wouldn’t have figured it would be one that had to do with RSS feeds. I’m glad you found it.
