Thumbnails Generate from First Image (External Image)

  • I want to generate the thumbnails on my posts via using the first image. Even if it’s external.

    So that the thumbnail will generate from locally stored images in the post or externally stored images.

    Any ideas on what code can be used?

    I suppose another option is to make wordpress automatically store all external images locally. Is that possible?
