Thumbnails from two websites

    Hello,
    Im importing posts from two websites – first have “medium size” of media 500×500, second 400×400.

    So problem is for one website plugin generate wrong sizes and that cause images not works from one site.

    How can i solve this?
    Can i regenerate thumbanils for specific category with specific size?
    Can i avoid regenerate thumbnails what are already created? But plugin will regenrate it too, because it have another sizes..

    Thanks for reaching out. Can you give us some more information to help us understand the issue better?

    Are the images already in 500×500 & 400×400 dimensions before importing them to the website?

    The plugin regenerates thumbnails based on the settings on WordPress Admin > Settings > Media. With WordPress, you can use only one size for the Thumbnail image i.e. either 400×400 or 500×500.

    WordPress does allow you to add custom image sizes (here is a short tutorial ).

    I recommend adding two custom image sizes for your website, one each for 400×400 images and one for 500×500 images, and then using the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to create correct sized copies.
