Thumbnails for Playlist not showing

    Hello, I am attempting to display a playlist based on search text. I would like the thumbnails for the playlist to appear without having to click the tiny button in the top left.

    I have used the following shortcode: [youtube search=yes]rafael nadal[/youtube]

    I have the “Display the video title and uploader before the video starts. If displaying a playlist this will show video thumbnails” in my Default Profile selected.

    I’ve been trying to find how to display thumbnails for a playlist, but it seems like it isn’t possible with the standard YouTube embed anymore.

    Is there a way to display the thumbnails with this plugin or is that no longer possible due to changes on Google’s end?

    Hi JJ,

    This plugin only provides the YouTube features, as it uses their player. You’d have to use a third party player to add in the changes you’re requesting.
