Thumbnails expand before loading

Hi
Plugin works well except that when loading, the pictures of the thumbnails
are big and catch all the page for less than a second. It doesn’t look good.
First question is how to solve it.
Second question is if all the thumbnail pictures are big pictures, it will make
my page load slowly…
