Thumbnails don’t display on newly loaded videos

    Thumbnails of newly-added vimeo videos are not displaying in our video gallery. The title shows in the gallery upon hover, and plays normally when clicked, but there is no thumbnail in the gallery.

    This does not appear to be a problem on the vimeo end, or with a specific video. The vimeo settings of the newly added video that doesn’t display the thumbnail are identical to the settings of previously added videos that do display the thumbnail. Also, when I add a new copy of a video that is already in the gallery, and is displaying the thumbnail correctly, the new copy does not display the thumbnail.

    I noticed a difference in the Add Images interface between videos I add now and videos that were added previously. If I hover on the blue information button with the i in it next to the video’s number, the tooltip that pops up shows resolution as “x” in the newly added videos, whereas in the previous videos, there was always a number x number resolution. This was also true for the video that I added a new copy of. The original version showed a numerical resolution, while the new copy I added showed the x without any numbers.

    I tried it, multiple times, in two different browsers. It didn’t work. Note that this site is not cached.

    The issue should be coming from VIMEO settings.

    After waiting 9 days for a support response, I hoped for something a little more illuminating than this. You tried to pass the buck to Vimeo last time an update to your plugin produced this problem too, but it turned out (months later, when you finally got around to releasing an update that fixed it) that the problem was on your end.

    Please try reaching out to Vimeo for this.
    When the video is placed in a WordPress editor, it produces an error.
    The issues come from the video and settings.
