Thumbnails are not like squares

    Hi!

    First of all: great plugin, just what I was looking for. The only thing I’m struggling with is that the thumbnails are not square even though I’ve set the thumbnail size as 80 x 80. Landscape images are still landscaped and portrait images are still like portraits. What am I missing here..?

  • Hi,
    I don’t fully understand how thumbnails work, but I noticed that your theme is setting:

    img {
  height: auto; /* Make sure images are scaled correctly. */
  max-width: 100%; /* Adhere to container width. */
}

    so your pictures are keeping their aspect ratios. That is, it’s doing its best not to distort your pictures.

    Ah right, got it. Thanks! I choose to do a work around and just use landscaped images as featured images so all thumbnails at least look the same.
