Thumbnails are full size images?

    Why are the thumbnails simply reduced size (css) full size images? Its loading 9 thumbnails at 400kb a piece and I look at the network tab and open the images in a new tab and it indeed is full size. adding almost 4MB of images to every page load.

    Because the Instagram API doesn’t load thumbnails, but it does the original images.
