    Maybe I do not asking the wrong place, but, like the Yoast feature with Facebook and Twitter, there goes:

    What should I do to get a thumbnail with the shared link in WhatsApp?

    Hi,

    Please make sure you have open graph tags enabled for your posts and pages by following the steps in this article. Once you’ve set a specific title, image, and description for the Facebook tab in the Yoast SEO meta box, WhatsApp should source from the same open graph tags and it should display the appropriate metadata when you share it.
