Thumbnail in Featured Image?

You could take a screenshot of the document then add it to the description of the file.

I was hoping for something a bit more automated. This would seem a very good feature to have, so that links to the posts could use the featured image as a thumbnail.

I will add it to my feature request. Thanks for the input.
