I have a question that I can not find on the internet.
    My images have different sizes.
I want them in a square.
But not that the parts are cropped.
For example I want the images in the thumbnail are fully visable but not cropped or cut like now.
Here is a screenshot of my site.

You can see that the jars of paint are to big.
The race car in the lower right is fine.

I tried different resolutions and played with the thumnail sizes.
Problem is that indeed the tumbnail image changed size, but I want them in a square.
The 1:1 is a square, but cut lot’s of the images.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
It is no option to resize every image in paint or something because there are more then 2000 images.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

I understand you would like your images all to be square 1:1.

You can configure your images on your WP-admin, under Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images, more info: Resize Images in WooCommerce, and you can check this article as well: How To Change Product Image Sizes.

If that does not help, please provide a link to your product page to inspect the images.

    Cheers.

    Thank you for your answer.
I’m afraid that is not the answer that I searching for.
If I use the square 1:1 all images are cut off and cropped.
What I want is that inside the square the full thumbnail images are visable, without cropping them.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the clarification.

I understand at the shop page, the images are being cropped, e.g. the image in the left is cropped, and it should be like the image in the right.

I was inspecting the thumbnail and could not get it completed, I only could get a cropped thumbnail. I was checking with CSS code to make it completely visible, but I think the thumbnail is already cropped, the outcome is not the expected when I edit them with CSS.

May I ask, can you provide a screenshot of your settings under Wp-Admin > appearance > customize > WooCommerce > product images?

Have you reached out to your theme support about this? Here is their contact page.

Another alternative is resizing the image via plugins, the www.remarpro.com plugin repository, has alternatives here there are some of them:

    I hope this helps.
