• I have created a child theme for customizr and trying to display featured images in the site main page. My site is https://www.sparklingbuds.com/. The problem is that the thmbnail images are not coming 100%. It appears to be cropped. If I change the theme to a different theme, everything looks good.

I tried the following things so far:
    1. Regenerated thumbmnails using the plugin. No impact.
    2. Modified functions.php to add custom code related to thumbnail settings. No impact.
    3. Adjusted the thumbnail settings in customizr theme. No impact.
    4. Deactivate ALL plugins. No impact.

Please suggest how to make the thumbnails to be shown fully.

  • You need to change the size of your Featured Images to 270px x 250px

I have change the size but I can’t do it.

    Sorry for my english…

You need to change the image sizes, then Remove Featured Image and then Set Featured Image again from the Featured Image link in the Post

Thanks for your reply! I changed the size of the featured image to 270*250. Still there is no impact. If I click the image source on the page source code, the image is displayed fully. But it is cropped in the page.

Did you check your Image Settings?

    For example:

Dynamic thumbnails centering on any devices
This option dynamically centers your images on any devices, vertically or horizontally according to their initial aspect ratio.

In the image setting, “Auto scale images on zoom” and “Dynamic thumbnails centering on any devices” are checked. All others are unchecked. I changed checking and unchecking various options but there is not much change in the thumbnails.

I do have the same problem. I tried the same as sparklingbuds.com, but no luck. Anything else to try ?
