Thumbnail images changing color

    Hello,

    We have a few galleries that we’ve been using for a few years, but recently the thumbnails have been saving in a different colour (slightly less vibrant).

    We’ve checked an old support topic on here which points to imagick not being supported, but we’ve checked this and it is.

    What else could the problem be?

    Hi @richesio,

    Please make sure that you are using JPEG images saved with sRGB color scheme only for the color quality reasons.

    Hi Mihai,

    My clients are photographers and they don’t save their images in this format, so I want to avoid them having to save them differently just for the website (they won’t want to do that because there are lots of images).

    If I open up the images in Photoshop and save them in sRGB then it works, but I can’t do this for every image.

    Is there no alternative? I absolutely love your plugin, but we won’t be able to use it if it continues to change the colours of thumbnails. This has only recently just happened.

    Hi @richesio,

    Unfortunately, there aren’t alternatives that I would remember and I think that it always used to be a requirement. At least that’s how it works the last couple of years.
