Thumbnail Image Size

  • Take a look at this page, https://leithmacarthur.com/books/ – yes the featured images are different sizes but I want to know what would be the best dimensions so the images do not get “cropped off” when they appear as thumbnails in a blog roll display. Thanks!

    Why is it cropped to different dimensions? I would try to switch the cropping on and off in settings/media to see what happens.

    Images were different dimensions because the content in the images vary. Okay I did some testing, the images need to be square in dimensions or cropping will occur.

    I don’t understand why cropping changed the aspect ratio of your images.
    And you don’t use the thumbnail images, I think you use some 3rd party gutenberg block of image with text, which does not use the thumbnail image.

    Check your plugins, generally weird things are caused by plugins.
