    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

Yes, this is possible with the “Insert image” button below the table input fields. That will open the WordPress Media Library, from which you can include an uploaded image, or upload a new one. If you then set the “Link target” field to the desired URL, the image will automatically be clickable as a link.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thank you!!
Does it mean we can manually place any other html code inside the cell?

    Hi,

no problem, you are very welcome! ?? Good to hear that this helped!

Yes, you can place any HTML in the cells (as long as your user possesses the access rights to add HTML to posts, which is the case for “Editors” and “Administrators”).

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!

I gave your plugin five stars!

It would be nice if on the plugin description page you point out that we can use any HTML code.

    Hi,

thanks, I really appreciate that! ??

The description on the plugin page is “Tables can contain any type of data.” right now. So, do you think that’s maybe not clear enough?

    Regards,
    Tobias

If I read it like this, I would not automatically assume that this plugin is able to render HTML code. Maybe you can add a line explaining what “any type of data” means.

    Hi,

Yes, I should clarify this, I guess. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Regards,
    Tobias
