Thumbnail generation not working

    Hello, i recently moved servers and now whenever i try to generate thumbnails i get an “Can’t load video” message. The previous server had PHP5.5 and the new one has PHP7, could that be the issue here?

    Do you have any trouble playing videos on the front end of your site since you moved to the new server?

    I’m not using the plugin in the front end, i just embed the videos in html tags and it works fine.

    Do you see the error in more than one browser? Are your videos hosted on the same domain as your WordPress site?

    Yeah i tried with firefox and chrome with the same results. The videos are hosted on the same site and the same server.

    Hey, it turns out it was just a bad setup with my SSL and the videos could not be loaded because they appeared to be on a different domain (non-https).

    Oh! Great. What was the setup exactly? I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to autodetect a problem like that.

    Hey sorry for the late reply, i was just not forcing https for every resource on the website that’s all.
