Hi, I’ve been using the Thumbnail for Excerpts plug-in on my category pages on https://www.addictmusic.co.uk for some time now.

Ever since I installed it, around half of the thumbnails being produced by the plug-in are blurry. I’ve tried changing the size of the thumbnails, but they are still blurry.

    Here are some examples:

    https://www.addictmusic.co.uk/category/reviews/

It’s a real problem as many visitors click on the category pages and I would assume they would perceive the site as being low quality due to the blurriness of some images.

Has anyone else had this problem, know what could be causing it or, even better, know how to fix it.

If not, is there a line of code or another plug-in that would perform the same function, but without the blurring.

Theme is revolution church and wordpress install is latest version.

    Thanks,

    Chris

and then right click and view image on one of the ones that look blurry. You’ll see it is in fact fine.

    I see.

What seems to be happening is that the plug-in is picking up the thumbnail which I call in the custom field for some of the posts instead of the main article image.

The default size for thumbnails is 75×75 and the plug-in is set to display 100×100, which is why some are blurred. Do you think there is a way of telling the plug-in to ignore the custom field or any images below a certain size?

All sorted, just had to change the default thumbnail to more thatn what was set in the plug-in.

    Thanks,
