I am trying to update a test Roku channel that I am making (it was working fine a few days ago but then my thumbnail disappeared. Now I get an error message when I try to update my feed.

“1 item has an error. Thumbnail must be 16×9 ratio, at least 800w x 450h, and either in JPG or PNG format”

I have tried turning Jetpack image optimization on and off, but still the same error.

When I click on the link in the JSON feed with the jetpack off my image loads. When I click on the feed link with the jetpack on it does not.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Jason

    Hi there,

Unfortunately I had to stop offering support on the free plugin due to the volume of support requests.

As for the thumbnail error it is usually caused by the original image is smaller than 800×450. WP won’t scale images up, only down.

Thanks Rob, I need some of those paid extensions anyhow so I’m sure you’ll be hearing from me soon.

I should note as well that I’ve added a new support Q&A system for Free users. It may take a bit for one of us to answer, but that is where to get support for the Free plugins.
