Thumbnail display original size?

Hi, I’m not sure why but my thumbnails display in the original size (1600px) while I’ve set all image sizes to 250, 350 and 600 (small, medium, large) in the WooCommerce settings page under Products > Display
(It did generate small thumbnails but in the product slideshow it only shows the original photos instead of their thumbnail version)
The picture is very piexelated as you can see from picture
The stranger thing is that the thumbnails show just fine in Mozilla Firefox (250px)
What could have possibly gone wrong?

Here are the image sizes on the Media Settings and WooCommerce Products>Display, maybe these settings are conflicting?
I figured out what’s wrong, but not sure what’s causing it
The Thumbnailtag includes this “src set”:

How do I force the thumbnail to use the smallest size available in the source set?
