Thumbnail crops won't update.

    Here’s an image which illustrates my point.

    I changed my thumbnail size from 125px to 150px. The thumbnail sizes weren’t updating so I udated NextGen to the latest version. Thumbnail sizes was then fixed. Then I noticed my thumbnails sort of reset to a default crop.

    In the linked image you can see the back end thumbs (how they should look) and then the front-end ones and how they look.

    I’ve noticed in my WP folders there are two folders which contain thumbnails:

    wp-content/gallery/digital-painting/dynamic
    and
    /public_html/wp-content/gallery/digital-painting/thumbs

    The dynamic one is incorrect, the thumbs folder is correct.

    I can confirm that since installing the latest version of NGG, my thumbnail crop changes in the ‘manage galleries’ section don’t update on the front end.

    edit: clearing the cache within the plugin’s UI doesn’t help, nor does ‘create new thumbnail’ in the manage gallery section.

    @andy – Have you tried clearing your browser cache and/or an anonymous window to review if these changes have taken affect? All of my test sites where I checked this work fine for editing the thumbnails.

    yeah, been doing all that for over a day now and even had friends send me screen shots. I’ve even gone into the FTP site and pulled down the thumbnails and observed the disparity.

    It’s not a server cache thing either coz I can change other site features and they update fine.

    @andy – You’re welcome to send in a Bug Report for us to look under the page at your site but without being able to reproduce it I cannot offer much more at the moment.

    We’ll probably need log in and FTP credentials to get this closer look, please include those with your Bug Report.
