thumbnail cant edit

    cant edit my thumbnail when i put imae in a gallery the cut off thumbnail is showing.
    In wordpress i adjusted the media settings , plugin thumbnails, force regenerate..
    all this doesnt work. When i edit the thumbnail, it shows in edit. But when i view teh media gallery or insert in an gallery the old cut off thumbnail is set…Please can somebody help me….i am desperate

  • Hi I run into this all the time. The thumbnail gets cached and what I wind up doing is reuploading the image and adding -1 or something like that.
    like if your image is image.png, I create a new one that’s image-1.png.
    I never trust wordpress to do image handling, it’s kind of feeble for that.

    I’ve had the same experience you have and now I just upload a new image, and don’t try to force wordpress to handle the changes. It never does successfully.
